Home Coming: Finding Comfort & Safety in your Body & Nervous System

Are you ready to dive into the science of feeling safe enough, to fall in love with life and take the risk of living?

HOME COMING is the latest unfolding of my work based on the practical application of the Polyvagal Theory that is rooted in the knowledge I have collected and mastered in the last few years in my personal life and my practice as a Body Centred Therapist.

It is what helped me to get to the core of the challenges I was experiencing and gave me a map and direction so I could keep coming back home to myself.

Now, it is time for me to share this knowledge with you, so you can learn how to come back home to yourself too.

Do you ever wonder why, having done so much work with yourself, you still end up in the same place? Why, haven't your fundamental patterns changed?

This is where HOME COMING can be of real benefit to you.

This Workshop is for you if you are:

  • Feeling stressed, anxious and unable to ‘switch off
  • Having difficulties with relationships
  • Feeling stuck or overwhelmed by life
  • Having difficulty finding safety in your body
  • Experiencing emotional rollercoasters
  • Going through a big life transition and feel like you could use some extra support

Are you ready to take the next step?

Understanding how the female nervous system works, holds the answers to our prayers.

Because of the complexity of our female body, there are more chances for dysregulation and incomplete cycles that can lead to trauma. However, our monthly cyclical nature allows us to access and connect with the depths of our being; offering us more opportunities for healing and repair, but only if we are willing to pause and listen to our bodies.

This is the true meaning of HOME COMING.

THE HOME COMING WORKSHOP WILL BE WELL-SUITED FOR YOU IF YOU DESIRE GREATER AGENCY AND FLOW IN YOUR LIFE. IT WILL GIVE YOU KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICAL TOOLS, INSPIRATION, COMMUNITY AND HEART-FELT GUIDANCE SO YOU CAN FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SAFE IN YOUR OWN SKIN AGAIN.

This Workshop will help you:

  • Understand your body language and the nervous system ecology
  • Improve your self-regulation skills to better manage stress
  • Achieve a greater freedom of choice in how you respond to challenging life situations
  • Reclaim agency and autonomy to fulfil your potential in Life
  • Meet the wild, powerful force that runs through your body and your nervous system

Here what is included in the workshop:

  • 3 hour in person experiential journey where you are going to learn how to navigate the complexity of your nervous system, so you can reshape the way you experience life.
  • Access to audio recordings with a short practices for you to master at home.
  • 1 hour integration call on Zoom two weeks after the workshop. Date will be announced on the day of the workshop.
  • Facebook group to support you on the journey

ARE YOU READY TO COME BACK HOME?

I hope you can join me for this experiential HOME COMING journey.

Ewa Bell's Offering on Sunday 1st October - 10.30am to 1.30pm

You may have noticed that our grid has had a different look since the beginning of May...

That's down to this woman, Magdalena Peddle from @magdalena_wayhay

Magdalena reached out to me last year to introduce herself as a creative force and fellow local Mama, who wanted to support and develop like-minded businesses.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with Magdalena. She listens, adapts, and makes the design process as simple and as accessible as possible.

Her integrity and dedication to this project are inspiring - check out Studio Way Hay's Instagram and website to see the pedigree of her clients and reviews echoing the words above.

Thank you, Magdalena.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Birth Trauma present their findings later today.

For those of us who had/have close contact with the clinical maternity world, unfortunately, I doubt its findings will come as a surprise.

If I'm being honest, while welcoming the public gaze these reports (Ockenden etc) bring, it feels like they are tiny hammers banging on great citadel walls...

There's a duel dynamic here - it's not just the 'system' that needs to change, it's women and birthing people's trust in themselves and their bodies.

Let's see what the 12 recommendations of this report are, but I suspect it'll boil down to two things (intrinsically linked):

1️⃣ LISTENING TO WOMEN & BIRTHING PEOPLE

2️⃣ COMMUNICATION/INFORMATION

Birth trauma is not OK!

Introducing our new resident hypnotherapist Ema Borges @dynamiccalm333

Ema qualified in 2009 after experiencing impressive results with hypnotherapy that enabled her to drastically reduce the panic attacks and anxiety she'd been battling with.

She was so inspired that she went on to study hypnotherapy at the Essex Institute. This enabled her to share the knowledge that every single one of us has the power to work with our minds for positive change.

Ema went on to take the advanced studies in hypnoanalysis, using childhood regression as a powerful tool to change the lens and framework with which we view our past, to help diffuse the emotional charge of painful memories and traumas which can keep us stuck in the same difficult loops and patterns, and can lead to physical symptoms.

She is also a qualified massage therapist and reiki practitioner, practicing these in South London, as well as holding occasional meditation gatherings.

Her first event at Moon will be a deeply relaxing hypnotherapy journey, taking place on Saturday15th June at 6.30pm. This will be a great opportunity to experience the transformative effect of hypnotherapy and to meet Ema and ask her any questions.

Ema is passionate about the mind, body and soul connection to create a sense of wholeness within ourselves. She loves gathering in ceremony and creating her own solo rituals, long nature walks, dream deciphering, painting, dancing, and is quite obsessed with cacao and the moon!

Book with Ema for a 1-to-1 session to support you with issues such as anxiety, phobias, fears, habits, stress and so much more or to attend her event via the link in bio.
