Ayurvedic Inspired Massage with Indian Head Massage

Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, this treatment invites you to slow down and gently return to your body. The session flows through the whole body but focuses attention and time on the back, shoulders, neck, face and scalp.

Soothing strokes, kneading, acupressure and rhythmic tapping encourage tension to release at its own pace. Each session is tailored moment-by-moment, the pressure deepening or softening, to meet your needs with presence and care.

Benefits include:

  • Reduced stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue
  • Relief from tension headaches and jaw tightness
  • Improved energy flow and overall relaxation
  • Enhanced sleep quality
  • A restored sense of mind-body harmony

Received lying down with nourishing oils, the treatment ends with subtle energy balancing leaving you grounded, clearer and more spacious within yourself.

Debbie Richard’s offering Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, between 9.45am to 2.45pm and Friday 8.45am to 2.45pm as well as 5pm to 8pm - please use the contact form below to let us know your preferred appointment time/s and we’ll endeavour to accommodate.

  • 60 minute treatment - £79
  • 90 minute treatment - £105

What the blazes!

This UK summer has been hotter than most of us can remember. Some of us are loving it. Others are counting the days until it's cooler.

Why are we all so different?

According to Chinese Medicine, we all have our own unique balance of Yin and Yang. So while one person might thrive in a hot, energetic summer, someone else may find it completely depleting.

If Yin and Yang have always sounded a bit mystical, here's a quick look.

⭕ Yin - Feminine = Still, Cooling, Nourishing, Receptive, Moistening, Interior

⭕ Yang - Masculine = Moving, Warming, Transforming, Active, Drying, Exterior

This summer has been incredibly Yang.

While that can feel energising, too much Yang can make it harder to slow down, switch off and truly rest.

You may have noticed more:

⭕️ Tired but wired
⭕️ Restless sleep or insomnia
⭕️ Headaches or migraines
⭕ Anxiety or feeling overwhelmed
⭕️ Irritability or a short fuse
⭕️ Neck and shoulder tension
⭕️ Hot flushes or menopausal symptoms flaring

Acupuncture helps restore balance by nourishing Yin and calming your nervous system. Better still, you get permission to lie down, close your eyes while Sophie or Sunila work with your body's underlying patterns, giving you the chance for a deep rest and reset.

Our next Acupuncture Collective is on 17 August, just a few days after the spectacular solar eclipse. Whether you're into lunar cycles or not, it feels like the perfect moment to pause, reset and head into late summer feeling more balanced.

We'd love to see you there.

Our next Acupuncture Collective is taking place between 2pm to 8pm on Monday 17th August.
