Scar-Work

Have you had surgery, including a caesarean birth, or an accident, with resulting scar tissue that’s causing tightness, pain or restricted movement? You could benefit from Scar-work.

Scar-work therapy concentrates on the underlying layers of the scar, stimulating the fascia and any adhesions to help mobilise and soften thicker tissues, also helping with the scars surface appearance.

Adhesions caused by a scar connect structures that should not be connected which can result in restricted mobility, organ function and can create pain or discomfort not only locally but distal to the scar itself.

Scars can be successfully treated no matter how old they are (post 6 weeks to surgery) as the body is constantly renewing cells.

Lyn Breakwell’s Offering on Mondays and Tuesdays- please contact Lyn, via the form below, to find out more and book a session.

  • 60 minutes - £80

If you would like to access the Women Supporting Women Fund to subsidise this treatment, find more details here.

Join us for this weekend at Moon Women’s Health in Tufnell Park, to Retreat, Reset and Restore. We have four special sessions for you to connect with.

On Saturday afternoon join Charlie and Zoe to calm your nervous system, nourish your body and reconnect with yourself, through the healing tool of intentional breath. Retreat inwards, listen deeply and tend to the parts of yourself that need the love.

On Saturday evening take an intentional pause from the busy pace of daily life with Tracy Awere. You are invited into a space of rest, meaning and inner connection through the weaving of sacred sound, spoken story and reflection.

On Sunday afternoon step off the treadmill, to prioritise personal growth and happiness with Clare Saponia. Find the answers that have been alluding you. This session allows you to explore new questions that give rise to new answers.

On Sunday evening find the tools to ease anxiety, improve sleep, and re-ground, in a safe and supportive space with Kerry and Christel. This gentle, guided session gives the opportunity to explore the power of conscious breathing.

You can find more details and book via our bio.

What's new, this New Moon? Hopefully you should have found the new lunar cycle's newsletter in your inbox this morning. If not here's a snapshot... "Well the weather's been a bit changeable of late, an uncertainly that feels like it's mirroring what's happening in the wider world, slowly eroding away the foundations of what's come before..." Trust me, it's not as heavy as it sounds, read more in the link via our bio.3 weeks ago
