I’m passionate about the benefits of postpartum support. Through 1-2-1 planning, workshops and circles I help people to plan so they can thrive during postpartum and beyond.

Support can help mother heal effectively, regain initial strength and also benefit longer term wellness but the impact is positive for the wider family unit too, promoting family bonding and creating space to listen to instincts and understand baby’s cues.

I’m mother of three daughters aged 12, 10 and 5 with birth experiences ranging from a labour ward to home birth. My postpartum experiences were as unique as each birth because my needs, expectations and preferences changed. I believe there is no ‘right’ way to enter motherhood but that by listening to intuition and surrounding ourselves by those who support and respect our preferences we can ease the transition for both mother and baby.

As an accredited postnatal doula and breastfeeding supporter, I also support families with in-home visits and virtual support during the postpartum period. Whether it’s holding space to process birth, providing nourishing food or helping you navigate your transition to post partum life, I help craft a care plan that helps you and your family to adapt.

⭕️ The Acupuncture Collective - This Monday ⭕️

We often talk about health as a marathon, not a sprint. With winter (and El Niño), and all its demands on our immune system, on its way, now is the perfect time for a pre-emptive tune-up.

In Chinese medicine, our immune system is made up of layers of defence, and Acupuncture is our Holy Grail in fortifying these defences.

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, strengthening your Wei Qi (Protective Qi) now is the best way to prevent winter colds and keep your foundations strong.

Whether you've been managing chronic digestive issues, navigating hormonal wobbles, or seeking support for your mental well-being, our Collective haven is here to help you.

We'll be working to build that natural inner vitality so you can greet the colder months from a place of strength.

We are also delighted to let you know that with Dr Sunila taking a step back, as she prepares for the arrival of her little one, we welcome Jules Simonneau to the Moon Women's Health practitioner family.

Our next Acupuncture Collective is taking place between 3pm to 8pm on Monday 12th October

Despite the warmth, Autumn is now well and truly upon us: the farmers’ market is full of squashes and conkers shimmer underfoot.

With the season change comes an artwork change to adorn the wall of Moon’s studio space.

Local artist Jen Cable has continued her generosity and loaned us her work ‘Hidden Connections’ - a piece that highlights the interconnected world of trees.

Mature trees are able to pass nutrients to shaded or struggling saplings through their underground fungal networks. During drought, trees share water with their neighbours, helping younger trees thrive when resources are scarce.

Trees don’t simply look after themselves - they’re part of a bigger, connected community. We see this reflected our own community, the small acts that keep us together.  A kind word, checking in on a neighbour, sharing what we have, lending a hand when someone is struggling.

When times are tough, these small acts of care can make all the difference. So, when you next pass a tree in your street, give it a drink. A little water from each of us can go a long way.

Small acts matter.
