Teenagers are brilliant, aren’t they? Full of energy, passion and ideas. But precisely that energy and those emotions can sometimes be a lot to keep up with.

This period of life is one big transition, physically, emotionally and socially. There are school expectations, exams, friendships, relationships, sport and the constant balancing act between online and real world life.

I work with teenagers experiencing anxiety, exam stress, sleep problems, acne, menstrual difficulties, digestive problems, recurring infections and exhaustion, as well as acute complaints and injuries.

Teenagers deserve to be treated like adults, whilst they still need parental guidance. They also need space to make their own choices.

I like to give teenagers the opportunity to be properly heard and involved in their own treatment. It is a great privilege to find out what direction they want to go in and then walk with them.
