A couple of helpers to mount the latest beautiful artwork that we're fortunate enough to host at Moon. As the warm weather invites us to swim in the lakes, rivers and sea you might want to keep an eye out for mermaids. There are none on the Heath, although I might have felt something tickle my toes in the Ladies' Pond recently, but that didn’t stop me asking local artist Jen Cable to lend us this piece, inspired by the tale of the little mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. Unlike the tale of Ariel in the Disney film, the original story is a warning about the importance of keeping your voice and using it to create the kind of inclusive and supportive society in which we can all be valued. It felt fitting that Moon should host the piece for the coming weeks.
