Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy can help with many issues such as anxiety, phobias, fears, habits, stress and so much more.

It is a powerful treatment is very similar to a guided meditation and utilises the focused and calm state of awareness that is activated when the conscious mind is in resting state. In this state the subconscious is open and ready to receive new suggestions in order to rewire the thinking patterns and habits that may have been holding you back.

Ema will gently drop you into a relaxed Alpha brainwave state and use visualisations, repeated suggestions, new perceptions and thought processes, and anchors to hold preferred, more beneficial habits into place. In this way you begin to see changes occurring within 2 to 3 of sessions, depending on what we are working on.

Before your session or series of sessions end Ema will equip you with the tools on how to self-hypnotise so that you can continue your self-empowerment in your own time.

If you are new to hypnotherapy you may like to start your journey with a Hypnotherapy consultation with primer. Ema will hold space for a longer session, to explore what you would like help with. This includes examining the history of what you are presenting with, to determine whether it's an ideal treatment for you and which type of treatment to proceed with. This will be followed with a short relaxation hypnotherapy session to 'prime' your subconscious mind for any further sessions and for you to experience a mild version of what hypnotherapy can feel like. This is also an opportunity to ask Ema any questions you may have.

Ema Borges' Offering at a time that suits you, please use the form below to contact Ema to find out more and book.

  • 60 minute Hypnotherapy session - £85
  • 75 minute Hypnotherapy consultation with primer - £105

It's my pleasure to re-introduce Roz Webb, of @babyin.babyout as May's final in-focus Moon Wise Woman Practitioner.

Roz has deep expertise and experience of all things pregnancy, postnatal and baby. At Moon Roz offers Movement and Baby Massage.

Roz remembers vividly how much the baby classes at the @activebirthcentre and Archway Children’s Centre, made parenting feel so much more enjoyable and less exhausting when she had her babies – the support, kindness and wisdom of teachers and fellow parents makes all the difference.

Inspired by these classes, when her own children grew older, she felt called to train to support others through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

She has been teaching developmental baby massage and movement classes for twelve years and is passionate about supporting parents, giving them a space to unwind and recharge.

Baby massage sessions are really special - as babies settle into a massage you can see parents relax too – a true, deep, bonding experience that is wonderful to watch and really special to experience. Through touch, movement and music, parents can support their babies to unfold and unfurl, to become more able to greet and navigate the complex world they live in, because a familiar massage is always a safe space to return to.

Although Roz loves Archway, she also really enjoys a country walk with good views and birdsong. She plays the piano and clarinet and sings in the Hex community choir – although in the past she sang with the London Philharmonic Choir, even singing in a prom at the Royal Albert Hall when eight months pregnant!

You can find out more about Roz and her next Movement and Baby Massage sessions, that start on 6th June, in our bio.

It feels like an age since we did an Insta Live, so I'm very glad to say I'll be talking to Carlotta Bozzetti this Thursday.

We'll be discussing the societal and familial importance of acknowledging and celebrating our daughters' journey to womanhood and the start of their period.

We'll be posting the recording of the session on our grid, so even if you can't join us live, you'll be able to listen in.

If you have any questions you'd like to ask Carlotta, please drop them below or ping Moon a DM.
