Can you help the children at Brookfield School access books that reflect them and their society?
In May and June we’re supporting Brookfield Primary’s Diverse Books Campaign to ensure all children can access books that mirror their experiences, the society they live in, and beyond.
When you book onto one of the events listed here, you’ll also be donating to this important campaign.

Thank you to these lovelies who donated to the Women Supporting Women Fund in April.
Your contributions mean that even more people can access the support they need from the Moon Women's Health practitioner collective.
If you'd like to access this Fund (no questions asked) to subsidise a treatment, event or class find the link via our bio.
Thanks once again.

It’s 1st May or Beltane, the ancient earthbound holiday day, celebrated for time immemorial.
It marks the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice and the approach of weather to warm our bones (although in this corner of North West London, surprisingly, it’s already here 😬).
☀️Sunset to Sunset☀️
Beltane honours Life. It represents the peak of Spring and the beginning of Summer. All of life is bursting with potent fertility. The Goddess of Spring (the May Queen) and the Young Oak King (the Green Man), fall in love and bring forth life.
🔥Traditions of Beltane🔥
Beltane is a Fire Festival. The word 'Beltane' originates from the Celtic God 'Bel', meaning 'the bright one' and the Gaelic word 'teine' meaning fire. Bonfires are lit and folks leap over them to purify, cleanse and to bring fertility.
🌼Going A-Maying🌼
Couples spent the night in nature, bringing back armfuls of the first May or hawthorn blossoms to decorate their homes and barns. If you were born at the end of January/beginning of February you are a Beltane Baby.
🌱Maypole🌱
The Maypole is a familiar image of May Day and Beltane. A phallic wooden pole, representing the potency of the God. The ring of flowers at the top representing the fertile Goddess. The weaving dance with the coloured ribbons symbolising the spiral of Life and the union of the Goddess and God.
Enjoy today, feel the sun, smell the blooms of new life and honour the Earth.

We hope you've received the new moon newsletter, if not you can find a link in the bio, as well as signing up for next month's offering...
This month a very hard newsletter to write... here's the opening paragraph to give you a sense of the content.
I've been dwelling deeply as to the content of this newsletter, whether to amplify my thoughts on last week's Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman. I've turned this over in my mind for many years, listening to what others have to say, hearing the words of hate, anger, love and inclusion...
