Reflexology Tasters

Have you ever wanted to try reflexology, well now you can. Holly Rosenthal is offering free taster sessions as part of the York Rise Street Party on 8th September.

Sessions will take place in the therapy room at Moon.

Booking is essential (see below)

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that can be effective in releasing tension and aiding relaxation. It is suitable for all ages and can be used safely alongside traditional western healthcare.

Based on the theory that specific areas of the feet, hands or face (the “reflexes”) correspond to different areas of the body, reflexology involves techniques being used to apply gentle pressure to these reflex points. The aim of a treatment will be to bring about a state of relaxation and, in doing so, stimulate the body’s own natural healing processes, helping you to return to a state of balance and well-being.

Reflexology can be used to support you through various phases of your life and I am particularly interested in how it can be applied during the following times:

  • Pregnancy: Reflexology can be a wonderfully relaxing treatment to support you in your journey through the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, helping to release tension and giving you time to focus on yourself and your baby.
  • Puberty: Puberty can be an exciting and challenging time: If you are going through puberty, reflexology treatments can help to provide you with a calming and relaxing environment where you have space to relax and re-charge, supporting you to release tension and improve your well-being.
  • Menopause: Menopause and peri-menopause can be a time to reassess how we look after ourselves, both mentally and physically. Reflexology can support you at this time by providing a gentle approach to increasing relaxation and releasing tension, which can help you to achieve improved well-being.

The sessions will take place between 11am to 2pm on Sunday 8th September at Moon Women’s Health.

These are free sessions but you must book in as space is limited.

I’m a holistic wellness practitioner with a passion for supporting women to reconnect with their bodies, nourish their nervous systems, and reclaim their sense of balance and vitality.

After developing autoimmune conditions nearly 4 years ago I had to rebuild my own health from the ground up, where I found reregulating my nervous system and creating an internal environment of safety, through somatic and mindfulness practices, to have the most potent impact on realigning my wellbeing. 

With a warm and grounded approach, I create empowering spaces offering accessible and transformational tools to encourage healing and optimise wellbeing. 

Combining my bodywork, energy healing and mindfulness facilitation, I work both 1-1 and in groups to support women in slowing down, tuning in, and reconnecting with their natural rhythms - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins with coming home to ourselves - and that every woman deserves to feel held, heard, and empowered in her journey toward wholeness.

When I’m not delving into my work you will usually either find me roaming around Hampstead Heath and climbing trees or in the dojo doing Muay Thai!
