Acupuncture Sleep Retreat
Your New Bedtime Ritual
Sleep is everything. It’s where we rest, repair and reset mentally and physically and process the day’s events and emotions. Sleep is a hugely precious commodity that can affect everything from our relationships, weight, and energy to our careers and fertility. I take sleep very seriously!
When big life events happen or we’re worrying about something, our sleep can take a hit. Our hormones also affect our sleep patterns as they fluctuate with our menstrual cycle and as we get older.
Acupuncture helps to encourage your body to produce the sleep hormone melatonin and can make you feel dreamily sleepy. It also helps balance your body and shift troublesome sleep patterns. After treatment, I always want to send my clients home to bed on a magic carpet.
What is the Acupuncture Sleep Retreat at Moon?
It’s an in-person group acupuncture session specifically aimed at improving your sleep. It takes place in Moon’s zen group space. You’ll be with 7 other women to enjoy the powerful therapeutic benefits of the group’s energetic gear shift.
The Sleep Club ritual starts at 8pm and runs to 9.30pm. You can come in your pyjamas, then toddle off afterwards straight to bed. There will be dreamy teas and scents and relaxing tunes to get you feeling cosy.
We’ll start with a quick hello and chat, then get horizontal on yoga mats and focus on our breathing. Sophie will then begin your acupuncture treatment, working her way down the body from your head towards your feet. Once everybody has all the acupuncture needles placed, they will stay in for about 20 minutes.
Once treatment has finished and all your acupuncture needles are out, you’ll have a few minutes to gently come back to life and sit up. In total the treatment will take about one hour, you’ll then have 15 minutes to ask Sophie questions or let the group know how the session was for you.
This session is perfect if you’ve had acupuncture before and are looking for a beautiful, wind-down ritual to support your sleep.
Sophie Webb’s Offering on Tuesday 20th May, 8pm - 9.30pm

On this beautiful sunny Sunday we'd like to introduce Seren Tang.
Seren is a Music Therapist with a wealth of experience and wisdom. She'll be joining us every Monday morning, starting 26th May, to lead your little ones in interactive music-making sessions.
Over to Seren 👇
Hi, I'm Seren, a music therapist with clinical experience supporting children and families.
I'm also a group facilitator, working integratively and drawing on approaches such as mindfulness, deep ecology, and nonviolent communication.
Becoming a mum was a turning point for me. It awakened my creative and spontaneous side, though at times, I struggled to balance personal growth with the responsibilities of parenthood. That experience sparked a deeper desire to connect the dots in my life and seek greater congruence between who I am and how I live.
Perhaps this offers a glimpse of what I mean... Lately, I’ve found joy in letting things unfold naturally. I was searching for books by Rumi, the Sufi mystic, and decided to explore some secondhand bookshops. Instead, I stumbled upon The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. As I began reading, I discovered that Gibran, too, was influenced by the Sufi tradition - along with other inspirations, including William Blake, one of my favourite poets. It felt like a beautifully serendipitous discovery.
I try to bring that same mix of intention and spontaneity into my music sessions. I set broad goals while staying present and open to the unexpected. Making music with others feels like embarking on a journey with fellow travellers - often, it's less about reaching a specific destination and more about discovering where we might go together.
The process is as meaningful as the outcome.
From 26 May 2025, I’ll be offering In Tune with Your Little Ones, parent-child music sessions at Moon. It would be lovely to see you there!
