It’s For You: Embracing Your Needs, Wants & Desires
As women juggling various roles—mothers, daughters, partners, and professionals—our own needs, wants, and desires often take a back seat, if they are considered at all. Conditioned to be people-pleasers in pursuit of love, safety, or career advancement, we frequently find ourselves unaware of our own desires and unsure of how to articulate or fulfill them.
Little do we realize that our desires hold profound wisdom, connecting us to our authentic selves.
Opening to our desires connects us to our yearning as sexual and relational beings, our worth in our professional lives, and our fundamental humanity.
This workshop offers a tangible, experiential approach to recognizing, trusting, appreciating, and effectively expressing your needs, wants, and desires. Utilizing tools from Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent, this session is dedicated to you and your self-discovery.
It’s for YOU.
This workshop is influenced and inspired by the Wheel of Consent® as developed by Dr. Betty Martin. I am interested in the Wheel, but I have not studied with Betty or the School of Consent. For more information visit www.schoolofconsent.org.

A big, sunny and warm welcome to Lisa Irving, who joins the Moon Wise Women Practitioner Collective, with a wonderful introductory offer this coming weekend (17/18 May) - find out more in our bio.
Over to Lisa đ
I'm a UKIHCA registered Health Coach, Functional Medicine and Energy Healing practitioner. I live and work in London but you can also find me in Cornwall foraging for wild herbs and learning about crystals.Â
My practice is centred around a holistic approach to health and I continuously weave in more healing modalities into my work. This brings me so much joy!Â
I am very fortunate to come from a family where women practiced herbalism and traditional medicine for many generations. It gave me a chance to witness healing from a very young age and I've learned so much just by observing my grandmother tending to her medicinal garden and making remedies with the herbs she's grown. It was life full of connection to land, acceptance of slower pace of life and the cycles of nature.Â
But it hasn't always been this idyllic. In my 20s and 30s I immersed myself in a very busy urban environment and a fast paced career which kept my creative side happy but left me depleted physically and emotionally. This was also a time when I became a mother - a very powerful catalyst for change for many women! Â
After having a fair share of health struggles and not being able to find the support I needed, I knew it was time to take charge for my healing journey. I decided to leave my career in the arts and immersed myself in studies in Nutrition, Functional Medicine, Health Coaching, Energy Healing, Herbalism and this list keeps growing. Â
I would love to see you for my Energy Healing & Crystal therapy sessions at Moon and in my Health Coaching practice in Angel, Islington or online. You can find more information about Functional Medicine and Health Coaching on my website https://www.healthywithlisa.co.uk/1-1coaching

Monday sees the start of Mental Health Awareness Week.Â
At Moon we'll also be hosting our popular monthly Acupuncture Collective, where you can experience the benefits of acupuncture at a lower cost - but how can this ancient healing modality support your own mental health?
In acupuncture (and Chinese Medicine, where acupuncture originates) there is a special word for our overall emotional spirit. Itâs called the âShen,â and when weâre feeling unsettled and anxious we refer to it as a âScattered Shenâ.
Â
Through a delicate and detailed approach, acupuncture helps to benefit our mental health in the following ways:
âď¸ Recalibrating our nervous system
âď¸ Encouraging better quality sleepÂ
âď¸ Promoting clarity of thought and focus
âď¸ Working on a deeper level to help our hormones work with us, not against us
The holistic approach we take at the Acupuncture Collective means your symptoms arenât just treated at the surface level, we go deeper.
If you would like to experience how transformative acupuncture can be, book in with us and allow your Shen to settle into a state of Zen.Â
If financial resources are a little tight, you can also access sessions with a 40% Women Supporting Women subsidy - just drop us a quick line, no questions asked, and we'll sort that out for you.
50% of profits from this Monday's session will be donated to @mindcharity
The Acupuncture Collective is taking place between 2pm to 8pm on Monday 12th May.
