When You Can’t Slow Down — And You’re Exhausted

A 3 hour in-person space in London for women who are always “ON”

You have a lot on your plate.

Work. Responsibilities. Decisions.

People relying on you.

From the outside, you’re managing.

But inside, it can feel different.

Tired.
Wired.
Unable to fully switch off.

And even when you try to rest… something in you keeps going.

This is not another thing to keep up with

You don’t need more strategies.

You don’t need to try harder.

This is a space where you can stop.

Not completely. Not dramatically.

Just enough to notice what’s really going on underneath the constant momentum.

What we’ll gently explore

  • why slowing down can feel difficult—even when you need it
  • the part of you that keeps pushing and staying in control
  • the part of you that feels exhausted, flat, or overwhelmed
  • how to begin relating to yourself with less pressure

Who this is for

This space is for you if:

  • you’re used to being busy, capable, and “on top of things”
  • you find it hard to truly switch off
  • you feel tired in a way that rest doesn’t fully fix
  • part of you wants to slow down… and another part won’t let you
  • you’ve been “the strong one” for a long time
  • something in you is changing… and you can’t quite make sense of it yet
  • you don’t want advice—you want space to be yourself

What it will feel like

Quiet.
Spacious.
Unpressured.

You won’t be asked to share anything personal.

You can simply sit, listen, and take this time for yourself.

What this space is

This is not deep therapy.

And it’s not a high-energy workshop.

It’s a calm, grounded space to pause and reconnect with yourself.

About the approach

This workshop is guided by The Slow Return— a gentle way of working with the nervous system and the different parts of you that are trying to cope.

A different kind of pause

If something in you feels a quiet sense of relief reading this… you’re very welcome to join.

No pressure. No urgency.

Just a space to step out of the constant doing— or a little while.

Ewa Bell’s offering at 3pm to 6pm on Sunday 30th May

  • Early bird: £69 (first 5 places)
  • Standard: £79

What an ace time yesterday at the York Rise Street Party!

We loved meeting everyone who visited the stall.

Amazingly, we raised over £900 to support our New Mama & Parent One-Stop Drop-in.

Big thanks to the skills and generosity of Mama Moon in knitting many, many jumpers, and all the practitioners who offered their experience and wisdom to run sessions at Moon - thank you!
