Womb Stories and Ancestral Echoes: A Sisterhood Celebration on the Heath

Join together in celebration of Womanhood, Sisterhood and Ancestral Honouring, with fire, food, storytelling and shamanic journeying, surrounded by the beauty of Hampstead Heath.
As part of Moon’s third birthday festivities, we’ve created a space to celebrate our relationships with other women, whether a sister, daughter, mother, partner or deep friend – come with your loved ones.
We’ll meet in the Old Orchard Garden, a secluded and secure corner of Hampstead Heath, to gather round a fire, as those have done before us.
As part of this celebration of womanhood, we’ll also remember and honour our ancestors, with a focus on those who died under the accusation of witchcraft.
We’ll be joined by Diana Olutunmogun (storyteller) who will weave a story of ‘Womb’ through the air as we share food, before Desiree Diaz (witch and shamanic practitioner) takes us by the hand and leads us on an ancestral healing journey.
What you can expect
- Becoming part of a woman’s circle
- Honouring our relationship with loved ones
- Hearing an entertaining tale
- Sharing food (this will be provided by Moon and will be created from seasonal and local produce)
- Connecting with and remembering our ancestors
- Sipping a unique herbal infusion to aid our experience
- Journeying on a drum-led shamanic pathway
As we approach the Autumn Equinox weekend, you’ll be sent the name and details of a woman who was murdered under the accusation of witchcraft. You’ll be invited to hold this woman in your heart and mind as we travel together across the time we spend together on the Heath.
This is a space for anyone who has entered womanhood.
Babes in arms also very welcome.
So join us by the fire this coming Autumn.
There are three ticket prices
This event will take place at 4.45pm to 7.15pm on Saturday 21st September on Hampstead Heath (location details will follow)
