Coming Home to the Body

Join Anna Soma and Tracy Awere for ‘The Cycles Within’, an embodied women’s retreat of movement, self-massage, sound and story.

Within each of us lies immense power and limitless creative potential. Yet, in the busyness of our minds and everyday life, it is easy to forget and become disconnected from the quiet, yet powerful voice within the womb.

For many women, reconnecting with the womb and womb space can feel like a homecoming. A return to inner knowing, and a reclamation of our power to birth not only children, but also creative endeavours, visions, projects and new ways of being. This creative force can shift and evolve with us through every season and stage of life.

The Offering

This half-day retreat creates space to step away from everyday demands, quieten the mind and listen more closely to the body.

The group is intentionally kept small to create a sense of intimacy, spaciousness and connection, allowing each woman to feel supported and fully part of the experience.

Together in circle, we will explore:

  • Somatic movement
  • Guided self-womb and abdominal massage
  • Sound and deep guided relaxation
  • Reflection and shared stories
  • Rest, nourishment and connection

We will close our time together with nourishing food and space to sit, talk and connect with other women.

Who It’s For

This retreat is for adult women at any stage of life, with or without a physical womb, who feel called to connect or reconnect with the power within themselves.

No previous experience of somatic practice, massage or womb work is needed.

What You’ll Carry Forward

Our intention is to light a spark! You may leave with a deeper awareness of your body, a renewed sense of connection, a question to explore, a practice to return to, or simply a feeling that something within has begun to stir.

Whatever that spark looks like for you, we hope it is something you can continue to tend, explore and cultivate in your own way.

Come open, curious and receptive to what your own body has to show you.

Anna Soma & Tracy Awere’s offering at 11am to 3pm on Sunday 8th November.

  • Capacity: Four
  • Price:
    • Full price £180
    • Early bird £150 (book by 8th Oct)

What an ace time yesterday at the York Rise Street Party!

We loved meeting everyone who visited the stall.

Amazingly, we raised over £900 to support our New Mama & Parent One-Stop Drop-in.

Big thanks to the skills and generosity of Mama Moon in knitting many, many jumpers, and all the practitioners who offered their experience and wisdom to run sessions at Moon - thank you!
