On this beautiful sunny Sunday we'd like to introduce Seren Tang.
Seren is a Music Therapist with a wealth of experience and wisdom. She'll be joining us every Monday morning, starting 26th May, to lead your little ones in interactive music-making sessions.
Over to Seren 👇
Hi, I'm Seren, a music therapist with clinical experience supporting children and families.
I'm also a group facilitator, working integratively and drawing on approaches such as mindfulness, deep ecology, and nonviolent communication.
Becoming a mum was a turning point for me. It awakened my creative and spontaneous side, though at times, I struggled to balance personal growth with the responsibilities of parenthood. That experience sparked a deeper desire to connect the dots in my life and seek greater congruence between who I am and how I live.
Perhaps this offers a glimpse of what I mean... Lately, I’ve found joy in letting things unfold naturally. I was searching for books by Rumi, the Sufi mystic, and decided to explore some secondhand bookshops. Instead, I stumbled upon The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. As I began reading, I discovered that Gibran, too, was influenced by the Sufi tradition - along with other inspirations, including William Blake, one of my favourite poets. It felt like a beautifully serendipitous discovery.
I try to bring that same mix of intention and spontaneity into my music sessions. I set broad goals while staying present and open to the unexpected. Making music with others feels like embarking on a journey with fellow travellers - often, it's less about reaching a specific destination and more about discovering where we might go together.
The process is as meaningful as the outcome.
From 26 May 2025, I’ll be offering In Tune with Your Little Ones, parent-child music sessions at Moon. It would be lovely to see you there!

Today is the UN International Day of the Family.
Families are the glue that hold society together. The love that is stoked and burns in the links we share, radiates out to our whole community, strengthening and galvanizing it.
In relation to the global family, we are fortunate, we don't have bombs falling, the threat of starvation or our loved taken by war.
Although, this is something not to lose sight of, our community has its own issues, with poverty, violence and a lack of support for those who need it most.
Last year we supported @homestartcamdenandislington in their work offering "free, confidential support and practical help to parents of children under five in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington who are struggling."
At our next New Mama & Parent One-Stop Drop-in on Tuesday (as well as those in June and July) we'll be giving attendees the opportunity to donate to this organisation and support local families.
We also have some wonderful family sessions coming up in the next few days.
You can find out more about these in our bio and don't forget the Women Supporting Women Fund is available to everyone, no questions asked, so that you can access everything available at Moon.5 days ago
