What is ADHD coaching?
ADHD coaching is a specialist form of coaching that helps you manage your ADHD symptoms and live a happier and more fulfilled life. It’s a collaborative process where the coach will offer you personalised support. Together, you’ll shape practical strategies to help you move forward.
What Challenges can ADHD coaching help with?
- Do you find that time runs away with you, you’re often late and have difficulty predicting how long things will take?
- Do you start doing one thing only to find yourself being distracted by the slightest thing?
- How often do you set out to achieve something only to feel so bored or overwhelmed that it doesn’t get finished?
- Are you easily overwhelmed and do you find it hard to control your emotions?
- Do you have trouble controlling your spending, eating or hobby collecting?
- Do you tend to have negative thought patterns and frequently succumb to self-doubt?
- Do you find it difficult to communicate in your close relationships and do you often feel rejection sensitivity?
What to expect from ADHD Coaching
- GREATER AWARENESS: The first step towards change is becoming more aware. Through our regular conversations, we talk through your challenges, what you want to change in your life and what might be stopping you.
- MORE ACCEPTANCE: Together we learn how ADHD affects your individual brain. We discover what activates it and what calms it down. We talk about your strengths, what motivates you and how you can harness these to help you in your daily life.
- PLANS FOR ACTION: Together we create strategies and solutions to address your specific problems. So that you have a clear plan to help you work towards your goals. Accountability is available if you want or need it.
- A SENSE OF PURPOSE: Once you see that your life is changing for the better, you feel a renewed sense of purpose. Your values and goals are aligned and you’re ready to explore new opportunities with positivity and confidence.
What Happens...
We meet two, three or four times a month. Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place on Zoom. You bring a specific area you’d like to work on for each session.
