Hatha Yoga

PLEASE NOTE: THIS CLASS IS OPEN TO ALL GENDERS

Sandra teaches an alignment-based Hatha Yoga class tailored to the individual in a small group setting. This class interweaves my explorations in movement and somatic practices (from Pilates, martial arts, dance, biomechanics & physical therapy).

An experienced yoga teacher, Sandra works across a diverse population from babies to the senior population. She’s been a pregnancy, postnatal and birth yoga teacher for more than14 years so the perinatal population is close to her heart. But, she also works with anyone returning to full exercise (from cancer treatment and its recovery, auto immune disorders, and muscular skeletal conditions from frozen shoulders, knee and hip replacements).

Expect focus on alignment, breath mechanics and functional fitness drawing on yoga and somatic movement plus some fun and laughter.

Through the physical, yoga works to still the mind. All classes integrate the body and mind through the breath so that you feel restored after class. This weekly class is open to everyone although absolute beginners should get in touch first.

Sandra Chua’s offering on Tuesday at 9.30am and Thursday at 10am.

  • 9.30am Tuesday session - £30* (maximum of 3 participants)
  • 10am Thursday session - £25* (maximum of 6 participants)

*Please note, these classes are not part of the Class Pass scheme, however, if you would like to access the Women Supporting Women Fund to subsidise this session, find more details here.

Wow! 4 years ago today... Moon hadn't opened yet, there was still a lot to be done and I had to take a breather and a sit down...

What a lot has happened in this time (including discovering barefoot shoes 😉), yet the years have flown...

Let's see what the next four years bring 😊

Join us this Monday (21st July) for our low cost acupuncture clinic at Moon Women's Health.

We’re over halfway through 2025, and our feet are firmly planted in Summer.

In Chinese Medicine, Summer belongs to the Fire element - linked to warmth, joy, connection, and the outward-moving energy of Yang. It’s a time of momentum, movement, and brightness.

Bustling social calendars, busy work schedules, and that hazy, sticky heat after a sudden downpour.

Acupuncturists love this season for its vibrant, outward energy - but we also know that all this activity can leave us feeling scattered, overstretched, or out of sync.

And if you’ve found yourself taking a few steps back with your wellbeing recently - know that it’s OK. The path to long-term wellbeing isn’t always straight.

So this Summer, ask yourself:
☀️ What do I need to feel calmer or more connected?
☀️ Am I supporting my nervous system and hormonal health, or running on empty?
☀️ Do I need to come back to the basics - like sleep, food, and breath?

Here at the Acupuncture Collective, Sophie and Dr Sunila can help you recalibrate.

Acupuncture supports your body’s rhythms, helps re-anchor your energy, and gives you space to pause and reconnect with what matters most.

Whether that’s managing stress, giving your hormones a helping hand, or laying the groundwork for the busy summer holidays - the Acupuncture Collective is here to support you.

Our next Acupuncture Collective is taking place between 2pm to 8pm on Monday 21st July - Find more details and book via the link in our bio.
