Scar-Work

Have you had surgery, including a caesarean birth, or an accident, with resulting scar tissue that’s causing tightness, pain or restricted movement? You could benefit from Scar-work.

Scar-work therapy concentrates on the underlying layers of the scar, stimulating the fascia and any adhesions to help mobilise and soften thicker tissues, also helping with the scars surface appearance.

Adhesions caused by a scar connect structures that should not be connected which can result in restricted mobility, organ function and can create pain or discomfort not only locally but distal to the scar itself.

Scars can be successfully treated no matter how old they are (post 6 weeks to surgery) as the body is constantly renewing cells.

A reminder that Amanda Davie will be hosting a Career Coaching Circle at Moon Women's Health on Chetwynd Road, this coming Monday from 1 - 3pm.  This is a safe and supportive space for local working women who want to put some time and thought into boosting their career growth and success. This might be you if you are: ⭕️ Stuck and need inspiration? ⭕️ Stressed and need perspective?  ⭕️ Just about Surviving and need change? ⭕️ On the verge of Burnout and need rescue? ⭕️ Bored and need invigorating? ⭕️ Unsure how to return to work and need a balanced plan? Attendees will receive both expert and peer coaching, and will leave feeling more inspired, capable and motivated to make positive changes and grow in their careers.  It's a two-hour session and costs £45 (£22.50 per hour), or subsidised places of £27 are available via Moon's Women Supporting Women Fund.  If you have other local friends who are facing challenges or frustration in their work or career, please forward this message onto them - affordable help is here!  You can find out more and book via our bio.

Queen of Kentish Town - Livia Palmiero ladies and gentlemen. We visited @wildisearth recently and were absolutely blown away by her passion, dedication and joy for fermentation, community and our beautiful planet. Wild is Earth is next to the Sainsbury's opposite Kentish Town tube, with the bar open on Thursdays and Fridays (until 11pm) for a beautifully curated and produced range of kombucca as well as wines and beers. Pop in, say hi and sample the drinks, it's only through community support that these wonderful spaces can exist.
