AcuYin (Yin Yoga with Acupressure)

In this class, Chi weaves the stillness of yin yoga with gentle acupressure techniques, working along the body’s meridian lines, the energy pathways described in Chinese medicine. Postures are supported and held for around three to five minutes, gently stimulating the fascia, connective tissues, and tendons rather than the muscles. This slow and meditative approach is combined with simple guidance to activate energy points through touch or mindful awareness.

The practice helps regulate the nervous system, releases deep tension in the body and mind, and restores balance so that energy can flow more freely. Moving slowly and resting deeply allows time to notice subtle sensations and reconnect with your inner rhythm.

AcuYin is suitable for all, whether you are new to yoga or have an established practice. It can also be practised during pregnancy with awareness and gentle modifications. Please let Chi know if you are pregnant so postures can be adapted safely.

You will leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more balanced, with a deeper sense of clarity and connection.

Chi Chong’s offering on Wednesdays 6.15pm to 7.15pm

A wonderful new art piece, Hidden Connections, from the talented @jencableart

Just like our community at Moon, trees are communal beings.  We all know that strong communities help us to navigate life's challenges and disasters.  Being part of a community that shares resources, creates the kind of place we all want to live. The trees on Hampstead heath and in Highgate Woods are just the same.  Rather than fighting each other for light and water, they join together with tiny fungal filaments to carry messages and transmit sugar from one tree to another to help each other survive.  In turn supporting over 600 bird species and thousands of insect species.

Hidden Connections is a celebration of the times when we come together to help those in need; bringing food, medicine or companionship to those that are isolated wherever they are in the world.

Come and see it for yourself.
