Awake to the Feminine

Join me for a nurturing session designed to help you connect with your inner wise woman—your radiant, wise, and powerful self. Together, we’ll explore practices to tap into your inner wisdom, release what no longer serves you, and embrace self-love and empowerment.

To create a strong connection with your higher self, we’ll gently raise your vibration by grounding and opening your energy.

What We’ll Do

  1. Mindful Movement: Gentle, intuitive movement to connect with your body and feel grounded.
  2. Breathing & Chakra Mantras: Balancing your energy through mindful breathing and sacred mantras.
  3. Journaling: A moment to express your emotions and thoughts on paper.
  4. Reflective Exercise: Connecting with your younger self or any part of you that needs love and attention.
  5. Meeting Your Inner Wise Woman: A guided visualization to receive her wisdom and guidance.

What You’ll Need

  • Comfortable clothing: We’ll be moving and sitting, so wear something cozy.
  • Yoga mat: For movement and seated practices (if you have the session at Moon this will be provided).
  • Pillows or cushions: To make sitting more comfortable (if you have the session at Moon this will be provided).
  • Paper and pen: For journaling and reflection.

Where We Can Meet

  1. At Moon Women’s Health where we can create a serene space.
  2. At Your Place: I’m happy to travel up to 40 minutes to bring the session to you.
  3. Online: If you prefer to connect from the comfort of your home, we can do the session virtually.

This session is all about you—your growth, your healing, and your connection to your inner power. Whether we meet in person or online, I’ll be there to guide and support you every step of the way.

Schay Stramosk’s offering throughout the week. You can contact Schay directly to find an appointment time that suits you.

  • 60 to 70 minute treatment - £80

This month Sophie and Dr Sunila are focusing on how acupuncture can support us through stressful and pressurised times...

Stress and anxiety can manifest in many ways - whether it’s racing thoughts that keep you up at night, a pounding heart, or an unsettled stomach. These feelings are your body’s way of signaling that it’s sensing danger, even if the threat isn’t immediate.

But when stress doesn’t switch off, it can feel like a pressure cooker building up inside. If left unchecked, this can lead to physical symptoms like tension headaches, digestive issues, or changes in your menstrual cycle. That’s where acupuncture can help.

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, stress and anxiety disrupt the balance of Qi (energy) in the body and scatter the “Shen,” or spirit. Acupuncture helps to restore this balance, calming the mind and reconnecting the body.

From a Western perspective, acupuncture regulates the nervous system, helping to reduce stress hormones while stimulating the production of serotonin and dopamine—the same ‘happy’ chemicals targeted by anti-anxiety medications. This makes acupuncture a truly complementary way to help you manage stress and anxiety over the long term.

At the Acupuncture Collective, Sophie and Dr. Sunila offer treatments designed to bring your body and mind back into harmony. Whether you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or simply need a way to let off steam, acupuncture could be the vent you’ve been looking for.

Needles in, stress out.

Join Sophie and Dr. Sunila at the next Acupuncture Collective and take the first step toward finding your calm.

Our next Acupuncture Collective is taking place between 2pm to 8pm on Wednesday 18th February.

Wow, a very generous donation from author Sofia Bothwell, a collection of her books focused on how addiction can manifest.

Sofia is holding a workshop, Healing the Eating Habit, at Moon on Saturday 28th February, where she'll explore the underlying causes of overeating, the emotional issues that can cause us to eat when full and the importance of raising self-acceptance.

We'll be learning more about this session in an upcoming Instagram Live (18th Feb), so you can find out more then, as well as via a link in our bio ('What's On in February').

Also, a reminder to check out our library next time you're at Moon.

Wow, wow, wow!

What an amazing response we've had to our plea for donations towards the Women Supporting Women Fund.

Thank you to all these lovely folk who donated in January. Thanks to you, eight women were able to access the support they wanted from Moon Women's Health.

However, unfortunately the waiting list continues to grow and is three months long at the moment.

Therefore, when you're booking a session at Moon and would like to support your community, please tick the box to add an additional £3 - it all adds up!

You can find more details about the fund, and donate directly via our bio.

Happy Imbolc to you all.

The mid-point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox - with our backs to the cold and our faces in the sun.

Today we honour the Goddess Bridgid, who had so powerful a hold on the celtic imagination, the Catholics had to make her into a Saint. She is a Goddess of fire, healing and birth, who leads us towards Spring.

Enjoy your Sunday 🌱
