Mothers Rising: A Monthly Women’s Circle for Mothers

Mothers Rising is a nurturing monthly women’s circle for mothers to come to without their children. A chance to feel belonging and find solidarity on the wild ride of parenting. Facilitated by Emily Hughes Conscious Parenting Coach and Somatic Therapist.

Next Session: 30th September - Emotional Intelligence

Parenting was never meant to be done alone. When the village won’t come to us we need to make our own village. Mothers Rising is a monthly space for mothers to reconnect to themselves and reflect on what truly matters in their parenting.

Motherhood is a sacred journey but it can also be exhausting, frustrating and depleting. Mothers Rising is a chance to tend to all your parts and tune into your feelings and needs. A pause, to nurture your inherent “good enoughness” and tune into your intuition and inner trust.

What you can expect:

  • Breathwork/ mindful movement and Somatic and embodiment exercises
  • Sharing circle
  • Conscious Parenting insights
  • Intention setting and journaling prompts
  • Solidarity and belonging
  • Tea and biscuits

This is for you if:

  • You are a parent with a child/ren 2(ish) to 19
  • Motherhood feels exhausting and frustrating and you are yearning to feel more aligned in your parenting.
  • You see the mother you want to be but get stuck in overwhelm
  • You are feeling the call to go deeper in your parenting and use the times when you are triggered as opportunities to grow
  • You are yearning to find solidarity with other conscious parents

Each Month there is a Theme:

  • 29th January: Nervous System Resourcing and Grounding
  • 26th February: Mum Guilt
  • 25th March: The Mental Load and Boundaries in Motherhood
  • 29th April: Anger, frustration and Mum Rage
  • 24th June:  Trust and Intuition in Motherhood
  • 30th September: Emotional Intelligence
  • 28th October: Peaceful Communication
  • 25th November: Authentic Connection and Joy

Sessions are on a Monday from 9.30am to 11am, but feel free to arrive straight after the school run, they’ll be someone to welcome you from 9am.

Queen of Kentish Town - Livia Palmiero ladies and gentlemen.

We visited @wildisearth recently and were absolutely blown away by her passion, dedication and joy for fermentation, community and our beautiful planet.

Wild is Earth is next to the Sainsbury's opposite Kentish Town tube, with the bar open on Thursdays and Fridays (until 11pm) for a beautifully curated and produced range of kombucca as well as wines and beers.

Pop in, say hi and sample the drinks, it's only through community support that these wonderful spaces can exist.
