Sessions:

I’m Alma, a qualified midwife turned holistic birth practitioner and antenatal teacher, and my work centres on supporting women and their partners through the profound transitions of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood—moments that ask us to listen deeply to ourselves, trust our inner voice, and make decisions that feel aligned with our truth.

I decided to move away from midwifery and clinical work in order to focus on supporting women and their partners through the emotional and psychological journey of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

My work is based around creating space for reflection and self-enquiry in order to gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings and internal processes. I support women and their partners to explore their expectations, fears, hopes, and inner experience of pregnancy, birth and becoming parents (or growing their family), through reflection, conversation and an integrative therapeutic approach, helping them feel anchored in themselves and secure in their choices.

I offer tailored antenatal, birth, and postnatal support, working one-to-one with women and couples. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for women’s intuition and inner wisdom. I see pregnancy, birth and early parenthood as threshold moments, ones that ask us to listen more deeply to ourselves.

This workshop was conceived from my background in literature and philosophy and my deep belief in women’s intuition as something we can reconnect with, strengthen, and trust. Drawing inspiration from the folk tale of Vasilisa, we will explore the inner guidance that lives within each of us, learning how to recognise and listen to that small, steady voice as you navigate uncertainty,
change, and becoming.

My role in this space is to guide gently, listen deeply, and hold a supportive, grounded environment where you feel safe to turn inward and trust your own wisdom.

Queen of Kentish Town - Livia Palmiero ladies and gentlemen.

We visited @wildisearth recently and were absolutely blown away by her passion, dedication and joy for fermentation, community and our beautiful planet.

Wild is Earth is next to the Sainsbury's opposite Kentish Town tube, with the bar open on Thursdays and Fridays (until 11pm) for a beautifully curated and produced range of kombucca as well as wines and beers.

Pop in, say hi and sample the drinks, it's only through community support that these wonderful spaces can exist.
