Trusting the Inner Guide: The Story of Vasilisa ‘The Doll in Your Pocket’

As women we call upon our intuition and instincts in order to sniff things out. We use all our senses to wring the truth from things, to extract nourishment from our own ideas, to see what there is to see, to know what there is to know.

(Clarissa Pinkola Estés)

An intimate 3-hour antenatal workshop held at Moon Women’s Health for pregnant women.

Guided by the timeless folk tale of Vasilisa— a powerful story about learning to trust ones inner voice— and inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ rich exploration of the tale in her book Women Who Run with the Wolves.

This workshop is an opportunity to explore your intuition— the quiet, steady inner knowing that guides us through life’s thresholds.

Just as Vasilisa learns to rely on her inner guidance while navigating the dark forest and facing Baba Yaga, this workshop offers a space to explore how intuition lives within you and how to recognise, trust, and act from it.

Through story, reflection, gentle guidance, and shared experience, we will explore the intuitive instincts that support clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience. This is a space to slow down, turn inward, and remember the wisdom you already carry.

Come as you are. Leave more connected to your inner knowing, your courage, and your capacity to trust yourself.

Alma Vignal’s offering at 10am - 1pm on Saturday 4th April and 4.30pm to 7.30pm on Saturday 23rd May.

At this Monday's Acupuncture Collective you can experience the benefits of acupuncture at a lower cost - but how can this ancient healing modality support your mental health?

In acupuncture (and Chinese Medicine, where acupuncture originates) there's a special word for our overall emotional spirit - the ‘Shen'. When we’re feeling unsettled and anxious we refer to it as a ‘Scattered Shen’.

Through a delicate and detailed approach, acupuncture helps to benefit our mental health in the following ways:

Recalibrating our nervous system
Encouraging better quality sleep
Promoting clarity of thought and focus
Working on a deeper level to help our hormones work with us, not against us
The holistic approach we take at the Acupuncture Collective means your symptoms aren’t just treated at the surface level, we go deeper.

If you would like to experience how transformative acupuncture can be, book in with us and allow your Shen to settle into a state of Zen.

Our next Acupuncture Collective is taking place between 2pm to 8pm on Monday 20th April - find more details and book via our bio.
