Retreat Day for the Tired & Pissed Off 2024

If you're feeling a little jaded and tired... tired of waking up tired, tired of holding the space for everyone else, tired of not having the time to focus on how best to support yourself... then this day is for you.

We are holding a Retreat Day at Moon from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday 28th September. It's a day of community and education, warming and nourishing food and deep rest and relaxation.

This has been curated for women who are thinking about or are in their perimenopause/menopause, so anyone in their mid-30s and beyond...

We have gathered five wise woman practitioners to hold space for you, to support you with information about how best to underpin your hormonal health and to guide you to a place of restorative rest.

Here is more information on your day:

  • 10am: Welcome

  • 10.15am: Opening Women's Circle to settle ourselves and set the intentions for the day with Ali Masterman

  • 11.15am: Rest, Tea and Snacks

  • 11.30am: Hormonal Health Discussion and Q&A with local women's health GP Dr Claire Phipps

  • 12.30pm: Optimum Nutrition for Women of 35+ with Amber Silverman + Nourishing Lunch from Bold

Sorry, only three weeks late!

But a big thank you to all the wonderful folks who donated £3 when they booked with Moon in September.

Your support means that other women in our community can access the support they need.

The Women Supporting Women Fund offers 40% subsidies for anyone who needs it, no questions asked.

Unfortunately there is quite a long waiting list at the moment, so if you're able to donate the price of a coffee next time you book, then you're a flipping 🌟

More details via a link in our bio.

The Camden Community Safety Team are organising a women's safety walkabout on Thursday 29th October, in the Highgate area.

They want to:

⭕️ Look at locations that feel unsafe.

⭕️ Find out about women’s safety concerns or incidents experienced

⭕️ Understand any other general community safety concerns we have

Our feedback is key as it serves to inform the route of the walkabout, as well as improving community safety for those living, visiting, and working in Camden.

If you'd like to feedback comments or take part in the walkabout, then feel free to comment beneath or DM us, and we'll pass this onto The Camden Community Safety Team.

Please note this is specifically regarding the Highgate ward (see second image).

I had been away from my eldest for over a week, and he surprised me this morning (6.30am!) by appearing at Moon (I'd left him sleeping) to help me clean after yesterday's Acupuncture Clinic 😍

I think it was all a bit much 🤣
