Somatic Therapy

In Somatic therapy sessions clients can explore issues from their life through the body. This is a safe, non touch, body based, trauma informed modality that can help with nervous system resourcing and regulation. This is particularly suitable for people who hold a lot of emotional stress in their body.

Through this modality sensitive overthinkers can learn to:

  • Listen to their body’s wisdom and work towards a greater sense of felt safety, alignment and authenticity.
  • Learn to feel safe and empowered with their body.
  • Develop nimble nervous systems so they can move more easily from fight/ flight/ freeze back to feeling safe in their bodies.
  • Explore with gentle curiosity what the body might be holding onto from past traumas.
  • Tune into the blocks and barriers that are holding them back from their potential and purpose.
  • Develop stronger boundaries in order to live more in alignment with your authenticity.

It’s a space for you to let the body lead and tune into its innate wisdom. This is a gentle trauma informed modality where I help clients to softly nudge towards feeling safer in their body and nervous system, more embodied and more empowered.

I work with clients ideally in a block of 6 Sessions or by pay as you go.

Each session lasts 1 hour and is £90 per hour or £80 if booked in a block of 6. If you would like a free 20 minute chat with Emily to discuss how you might work together, book a session here

Queen of Kentish Town - Livia Palmiero ladies and gentlemen.

We visited @wildisearth recently and were absolutely blown away by her passion, dedication and joy for fermentation, community and our beautiful planet.

Wild is Earth is next to the Sainsbury's opposite Kentish Town tube, with the bar open on Thursdays and Fridays (until 11pm) for a beautifully curated and produced range of kombucca as well as wines and beers.

Pop in, say hi and sample the drinks, it's only through community support that these wonderful spaces can exist.
