The Midlife Series: Busting Menopause Myths

Did you know there are over 30 signs of menopause? Did you also know that peri-menopause begins
for most in our early forties and can last for anything up to 10 years!
You’ve probably heard jokes about hot flushes but may not know
that brain fog, anxiety, headaches, joint pains, heart palpitations and itchy
skin are also common signs of menopause.
Come join Ali
Masterman, local Menopause
Yoga certified teacher and Dr
Sue Dickie, local GP who has a special interest in women's
health and currently volunteers at the specialist menopause clinic
at The Whittington Hospital.
Between us we want to bust some myths and help people get the
best experience of this time of life. It
doesn’t have to be doom and gloom it can be an exciting and invigorating
time. Make your Second Spring your best
time of life.
The workshop will be a small intimate group to enable us to
share our stories comfortably within a safe space (only if you want to no-one
will be forced to share), Q&A with both Sue and Ali then some gentle and
relaxing yoga and meditative breathwork.
Our intention is to educate, embrace and empower you. You will leave with information sheets that
will help with this transition. Plus a
wonderful goodie bag curated from small like minded businesses.
Alison and Sue's Offering on - next dates to be announced.

Find the space for an August rejuvenate next week at Moon.
On Wednesday 12th August, Desiree Diaz holds sacred space at the New Moon Solar Eclipse Women’s Healing & Meditation Circle. Sit in circle, with your community, feel the beat of the drum merge with your own heart and set your intentions for the coming days.
On Saturday 15th August, join Tracy Awere's sound session for mothers with their little ones. A calming experience using soft, steady tones to soothe the nervous system of both mother and baby - regulate your body and ease tension during the early weeks and months of parenthood.
On Sunday 16th August, Assiya Shalabayeva creates an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance, for us to speak from the heart — or to simply listen — as we explore what’s real for us in this moment of our lives. You may come seeking clarity, or connection, or to simply to sit among women and feel the strength of shared truth.
