Postpartum Revolution: Planning for a Supported Fourth Trimester

The fourth
trimester is the period of time post birth where parents and baby are
recovering and adjusting to life together outside the womb.
The practices,
recipes and rituals of this period might differ across cultures but the
sentiment is essentially the same, ‘mothering the mother’ so she can heal,
regain strength and process the physical and emotional changes that she’s going
through.
Everyone
deserves a nourished postpartum. Too often, the noise of other people’s
expectations and priorities can drown out what you personally crave. By holding
space to listen to your instincts you will create a strong postpartum
foundation to aid recovery, benefit longer term wellness and positively impact
family bonding.
This session
will cover:
- Why
the fourth trimester matters
- How
each postpartum experience is unique (including for a subsequent baby)
- Defining
your own postpartum priorities
- Building
your support team
- Setting yourself up to thrive
This is for you
if:
- You
are pregnant or a supporting a partner who is pregnant
- You
want to gain more information about the fourth trimester
- You
want to gather practical tips on how to set boundaries / invite support
- You want to foster a strong foundation with your partner for postpartum

Queen of Kentish Town - Livia Palmiero ladies and gentlemen.
We visited @wildisearth recently and were absolutely blown away by her passion, dedication and joy for fermentation, community and our beautiful planet.
Wild is Earth is next to the Sainsbury's opposite Kentish Town tube, with the bar open on Thursdays and Fridays (until 11pm) for a beautifully curated and produced range of kombucca as well as wines and beers.
Pop in, say hi and sample the drinks, it's only through community support that these wonderful spaces can exist.2 weeks ago
